Privacy Policy

Short version: nothing you do here reaches us, because there is nowhere for it to go.

The website

Every test on display-test.pages.dev runs entirely in your browser. Patterns are drawn locally; nothing you see or set is transmitted anywhere. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking cookies.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which — like any web host — records standard request logs such as IP address and user agent in order to serve the page and protect against abuse. We do not read, analyse, or export those logs.

Some pages remember a setting (for example a chosen pattern or brightness) using your browser's own local storage. That data stays in your browser, is readable only by the page that wrote it, and is removed when you clear site data.

The remote-control feature

Some pages can be driven from another machine so one person can run a test while another watches the screen. That pairing goes through a relay we operate, identified by a short room code and a key shown on screen.

The relay passes commands through; it does not store them. Only the commands you send travel over it — no screen contents, no files, no identifiers beyond the room code.

The iOS and Android apps

The apps display test patterns and, on request, act as a measuring instrument. They contain no analytics and no advertising SDKs, require no account, and send nothing to us or to any third party.

⚠️ Because the control service accepts commands from anyone on the same network, run the apps on a network you trust.

What we collect

Nothing. We operate no account system, no database of users, and no analytics pipeline. We cannot identify you, and we hold no data to sell, share, or hand over.

Children

These are display-measurement tools with no social features and no data collection. They are not directed at children, and no personal information is gathered from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page rather than applied quietly.
